Love eggs? Love toast? Try my Egg in a Hole. This recipe is also known as egg-in-a- basket, egg-in- a- nest and birds-nest-egg. Whatever! It’s just a simple and fun way to serve yourself up a quick, healthy breakfast.

Don’t worry so much about the cholesterol, science is showing that eggs have no effect on overall blood cholesterol levels.

  • One slice whole wheat bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Tear a hole in the middle of the slice of bread. Best way to do this is to fold the bread in half and tear out a half circle. Do you remember cutting out valentines as a kid? Like that!
